You are a diamond, albeit an uncut diamond. Now in all you do, will help you to craft yourself more into a cut and polished diamond or leave you looking as worthless as a piece of glass. In this article, I will help you to realize the most expensive diamond in the world - You.

Your self worth and how much you think you are worth is what determines your pay, the life you lead, and your relationships. Stars have such high self worth that they attract success around them. If you have ever been on welfare, and managed to move out of that situation, then consider it for yourself. How much did you value yourself then, and now?

For many people success is a goal to strive for, but real and true success can only happen throughout the entire journey. Remember success is a journey, and who you ultimately become. I have 2 gifts in my hand that I would like to share with you. On the one hand I have a million dollars, that is right, $1,000,000, that I would like to give you. In my other hand is the ability to know the essence of the million dollars, which means that you could make millions whenever you choose. Which do you choose?

In such stark realizations, you may have chosen the second option of knowing how to make a million, whenever you choose, which equates to your mindset. Most people play the lottery however, and for those that win, they say ‘I am rich’, but when the money is gone, that is right, they call themselves poor. You are a success today, right now.

In personal development, there is a main factor you will learn, and that is goal setting. I started goal setting when I first read the book Think And Grow Rich, at the age of 14/15. And in all that time, over the years, I have learned that the journey is what matters, not the destination. You are a diamond that needs to be crafted, and polished. The diamond forms from such great pressures, so if you think that an easier path is for you, then the majority of glass around the world is in great abundance. Sand makes glass, and if you build your dreams on sand, they topple. What is required is to build your house on stone. And this is a journey.

Goal setting is great, goal setting gives us direction, however, an example will serve better. Consider when you wanted something, perhaps when you was a child, and wanted something for Christmas. On Christmas you got this gift, no doubt at next Christmas your eyes were on a new desire. If you were like most children, then you may have been looking at what is next, within a few days of Christmas, if not at Christmas evening!

As you can see from your own example, the achievement of goals doesn’t last long. So, what does this mean? Is goal setting bad? Not at all, goal setting is crucial, but who you become is worth its weight in gold. Most people call favorable breaks as purely luck. However, to the truly successful, who have mastered, whatever they are working to master, they find as has been termed, luck to some, opportunity met with preparation to others.

Getting to your goal needs a clear vision. What does it look like to achieve that goal? You must begin to be that kind of person to have that which you seek. And the only thing that can stop you from getting there is you. The world is your oyster, and there are only 2 actions that you can take. Action which takes you away from your goals or actions that takes you towards your goals.

Your action will cause things to happen, and these effects will set in new causes. Over time the rippling effect will bring you your desire. Holding true to your dream, your cut and polished diamond of you, you will achieve, if you hold true to your dream, and it will turn into your reality.
